Carrot and Parsnip Loaf

50g carrots, peeled and finely chopped or sliced |

| Method | |||||
Place carrots, parsnips, water, garlic and butter into large casserole dish. Cover with the well fitting lid and cook on HIGH for 10 minutes until vegetables are tender. Stir or give the dish a good shake half way through cooking time. Leave to stand for a few minutes. |

Sticky Black Gingerbread

350g plain flour |

Line the 23cm universal cake dish with greaseproof paper, (a butter wrapper is perfect). Sieve flour, bicarbonate of soda and spices together into a bowl. Place the butter, brown sugar, syrup and treacle into a 1 litre oven-proof bowl. Heat on HIGH for 1 minute until butter is melted. |

Mediterranean Pizza

1 25cm pizza base 4 tblspns tomato based pizza topping topping ingredients of your choice, these could include: sliced red, green or orange peppers 1 onion, roughly sliced 4 mushrooms, wiped and sliced 50g ham, roughly chopped 125g cheese, grated seasoning to taste chopped parsley for garnish |

Set pizza base on top of pizza tray, spread pizza topping over base, then cover with topping ingredients of your choice, finish with grated cheese and a sprinkle of parsley. Cook in combination oven 200 degrees C , with MEDIUM LOW microwave power for 10 - 12 minutes, until cheese begins to bubble and brown. Or cook in a standard oven on 200 degrees C for 15 - 20 minutes, until cheese bubbles and browns. Serve hot. |
