Set up your Kitchen with the Ultimate Kitchen Set

Monday, February 2nd, 2009

If you don’t have any silicone cookware, you may find purchasing each individual piece is going to cost you a bit more than you’d like.  However, once you’ve tried one piece of silicon non-stick cookware, you’ll want to replace every piece of your cookware with silicone.  If you want to save on purchasing your non-stick items, take a look at our ultimate kitchen set.  It has everything you need to get started cooking with silicone.

The kitchen set includes 15 pieces of silicone cookware.  You’ll get two flan dishes, two six-bun Yorkshire pudding trays, three one-pound loaf dishes (two of one size, one of a different size), one ten-inch round dish, two nine-inch square pans, one silicone knife, two oven liners, and one grill pan liner.  Once you have all of these silicone items at your disposal, baking will never be the same!

All of these pieces are pure silicone, which means they all feature everything that makes silicone amazing.  Each piece comes clean with just a little hot soapy water, making clean-up a breeze.  You can also wash them in the dishwasher.  Silicone cookware is also safe for use in gas and electric ovens and microwaves.  You can also take your items straight for the oven and put it right in the freezer or fridge without ever changing dishes.  You can actually use silicon cookware for every stage of a meal—from cooking to serving to saving leftovers in.  Silicone also needs no oils or other non-stick spray, so your food will actually be healthier, too!

As you can see, purchasing a silicone set offers you all of the advantages you get with each individual non-stick piece plus it saves you money.  Whether you want it for yourself or for a friend, it’s a great deal.

Do You Need Two?

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

When it comes to buying anything, sometimes more is, well, more.  This is especially true when you’re looking at cookware.  How many times have you had to wait for one batch of muffins to bake before you can start the next batch?  If you had two muffin pans, you could do two batches at once.

That’s why many of our cookware comes in two packs.  While you can purchase one non stick 24 mini canapé tray, if you’re planning on doing a lot of baking, you may want to get our two-pack.  Even if you’re not going to need them both, you may want to purchase one as a gift.  You save on shipping by purchasing them both at the same time, and you even get a slight discount for buying one of our two-packs instead of two single items.

While not every product is available in a package of two, many of our most popular items are.  They include the non-stick 1lb and 2lb loaf dishes, the 24 mini canapé trays, the 6 bun/pudding trays, the 8in flan pans, and our silicone spatulas.  Having two of these items guarantees you won’t have to wait for one item or batch to come out of the oven before you start cooking the next.  With two pans or trays, you can cook more and you can cook faster, all for a great price!

Using Silicone Spatulas

Monday, December 22nd, 2008

Are you tired of trying to get something out of a pan using a metal spatula only to scrape up your nice pan?  If so, you may want to invest in a silicon spatula.  There are several advantages to using silicone instead of metal, especially when it comes to cooking food that has a habit of sticking to the surface of your cookware.

Silicone spatulas can do it all.  They can be used to stir up batters and mixes, serve cakes and baked dishes, and even decorate cakes after they’re baked.  Silicon spatulas can also be used to stir very hot dishes.  Spatulas are one of the most multi-purpose items in your kitchen, so it only makes sense to have spatulas that will last for quite some time.  Plastic spatulas have a tendency to break, especially if you apply a lot of pressure to them.  Metal spatulas won’t, but they can damage your cookware.  A silicone spatula, however, combines the best features of the two: they are durable like metal yet won’t damage anything.

With all of that, you may expect to find silicone spatulas very expensive.  However, while you will pay a bit more for them, you obviously get a high-quality product that will last for years and can serve many different purposes.
